The Palm House @ Kew Gardens

This is the first time I have been able to visit Kew Gardens and because of the time of year, most places were closed and it was raining, however, to my luck, the Palm House still happened to be open. I was more than pleased it was, because I was mesmerized as soon as I entered the glass doors. I felt as if I were in a tropical rain-forest or jungle as palm trees towered over me and the humid air hit my skin. I was able to notice things about these plants, that you might ignore usually, but I examined everything my eyes came across in fine detail, such as how vibrant the plants actually are, that they are not just green, they also obtain raspberry pink colours and even hints of purple. I had never noticed natures amazing natural patterns on leaves before coming here or how big and bold leaves actually are similar to geometric forms. As you can see I had taken many photos from this visit and will do some drawings from these images to reflect my thoughts.
